Every September the Victorian Village Society holds it's annual Home & Garden Tour. Twelve homes from the neighborhood are selected to be open for tour goers to come in and take peek inside some of the most beautiful homes in Columbus.
I've been involved with the tour for 9 years now and each year I enjoy it more and more. My role has typically been to plan the Preview Event that takes place on Saturday night before the tour. It's a great little cocktail party that is held after the sneak peek and right before the in home dinners. (Those are a whole other post that we'll visit later) This years preview event was held at the home of John Angelo, the former Director of the Short North Business Association.
Anyways, this year I got to have a little fun helping our neighbors prepare their home for the tour. They were one of the most anticipated homes on the tour. We did a fun little dining table in their English garden-esque backyard. A big thank you to our friends at Event Source for the linens, china and flatware. Also a big thank you to Jan and her team at Flowers On Orchard Lane for providing the beautiful floral arrangements.
